I love having a winter greenhouse

Loving have a warm place full of green leaves this time of year. The fact that they are edible is just icing on the cake.

Winter greenhouse greens don’t really grow much during the low-light months – they just sit there and let you eat them. Now we are in a period of aggressive growth and it is hard to keep up with them all! Our chickens are eating well.

Mustard greens are fantasticly sweet and nutty when cooked up this time of year.
